CUSTOM PROPOSAL — TOMMY TANK

EMBRACE THE SUCK.
BUILD THE BRAND.

A 12-month content strategy for Tank Tactical — engineered to grow the brand beyond any single voice. Built specifically for what you've created, not the template proposal everyone else gets.

What we see in your brand

Two sites. One story. Two audiences fighting for the wheel.

We've spent time inside both tanktacticalusa.com and tommytankfitness.com. What we see is a product line with real conviction — engineered weighted vests, smart kettlebells, a nutrition line, and a founder who actually walks the walk.

But the brand is split between two audiences that don't quite overlap: military, tactical, and first-responder operators who need real-world conditioning gear — and 50+ longevity athletes who follow Tommy's "Life After 50" authority.

Both are valid. The win is a content engine that earns attention from both without making the brand dependent on Tommy's personal feed. That's the brief you gave us. That's exactly what we'd build.

Your two audiences — and the opportunity

Two pools. Different stories. Both win with the same content engine.

The content engine we'd build pulls both audiences in without alienating either. Same studio. Same crew. Different guests, different angles, dual distribution.

Audience 1

Military · Tactical · First Responders

SWAT operators, special forces vets, K9 handlers, fire/rescue. They train under load. They trust gear that survives. They follow brands that respect the work. Bigger market. Less founder-dependent.

Audience 2

50+ Longevity Athletes

Men and women who refuse to slow down — builders, business owners, athletes still showing up at 55, 60, 65. They follow Tommy because he proves it's possible. Loyal niche. Higher LTV.

03

The 3 content pillars

Three pillars. Three environments. One brand, fully built out.

Every piece of content lives inside one of three pillars — each shot in a different environment, each serving a different audience. The mix keeps the feed feeling alive instead of repetitive.

PILLAR 1

The Podcast

The authority play

"Embrace the Suck" — interview format, video-first, full studio. Tommy hosts, guests carry the story. Long-form for YouTube; cut down into short-form everywhere else.

  • Full studio production
  • Published to YouTube + Spotify + Apple
  • Cut into short-form clips for IG + FB + Shorts
  • Guests reinforce the brand's identity
  • If Tommy steps back, format survives
PILLAR 2

Trail Content

The visual hook

Tommy in the weighted vest on a trail — both talking-to-camera content (mindset, training, brand POV) AND raw "watch him actually do the work" footage. The vest in its native habitat. No staged gym shots.

  • Talking-head content with the trail as backdrop
  • Real workout footage — rucking, hiking under load
  • Vest doing the thing it was engineered for
  • Captioned, vertical-first for Reels / Shorts / FB
  • Earns trust no studio shot can
PILLAR 3

Gym Content

The relatability play

Tommy in a gym environment — treadmill, machines, gear in actual use. The crossover audience that doesn't ruck trails but lives in the gym. Content that meets people where they already train.

  • Cardio / treadmill talking-head segments
  • Vest worn during gym workouts
  • Format-native: short, punchy, hooks first 2 sec
  • Reaches everyday athletes, not just operators
  • Same gear, different battlefield

The podcast — "Embrace the Suck"

— A TANK TACTICAL PRODUCTION

EMBRACE
THE SUCK.

Episode 001 — coming soon

The brand's flagship show — not Tommy's show.

The show borrows Tommy's tagline because he earned it. But the format is built so the brand carries it, not the founder. Tommy hosts. Real operators bring the story every week. That's how Tank Tactical becomes a media brand, not a personality brand.

SAMPLE GUEST ROSTER WE'D OPEN WITH:

01
A retired Navy SEAL or Green Beret — talks about training load, the mental side, why gear earns or loses trust.
02
A SWAT K9 handler — the only kind of training day where you ruck AND your dog has an opinion.
03
A 62-year-old powerlifter — the 50+ niche, embodied. Tank Vest in his daily routine.
04
A fire captain who trains rookies — load-bearing prep, real-world consequences.
05
An MMA / BJJ gym owner — how he programs vest work into his fight camp.
06
A combat-veteran turned entrepreneur — discipline transfer, the second career.
